Question 1

What is taevio.?

Accepted Answer

taevio. is a European hospitality platform that brings reservations, service, orders, guests, communication and commerce together in one place, so a team no longer juggles several disconnected tools.

Question 2

Who is taevio. for?

Accepted Answer

For restaurants, brasseries, pizzerias, hotel restaurants, cafés, bars and caterers, whether they run one venue or several.

Question 3

Do I need to install software?

Accepted Answer

No. taevio. runs in a web browser on a computer, a tablet or a phone. There is nothing to install and updates arrive automatically.

Question 4

Can I use taevio. with several establishments?

Accepted Answer

Yes. One organisation can hold several establishments, each with its own settings, its own team and its own data.

Question 5

Which languages are available?

Accepted Answer

The platform is available in Portuguese, French, English, Luxembourgish, German and Spanish. Each user chooses their own language.

Question 6

What does Restaurant OS™ cover?

Accepted Answer

Restaurant OS™ covers the daily service: reservations, floor plan, waitlist, orders, kitchen display and the operations a team repeats every day.

Question 7

Can I recreate my dining room?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You create your rooms and your tables, place them on a plan and the platform proposes a table when a reservation arrives.

Question 8

How are orders handled?

Accepted Answer

Orders are attached to a table, follow their status through service and stay linked to the bill of that table.

Question 9

Does the kitchen see the orders?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A kitchen screen shows the items to prepare and their status, so the dining room and the kitchen read the same information.

Question 10

What are AI Employees™?

Accepted Answer

They are specialised assistants that help the team on repetitive tasks such as answering a call, taking a reservation request or following up a message.

Question 11

Do AI Employees™ replace my staff?

Accepted Answer

No. They handle repetitive work so the team can spend more time with guests. The decisions stay with the people who run the establishment.

Question 12

Do I keep control over what they do?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You define what each assistant is allowed to do, and a team member can take over a conversation at any moment.

Question 13

How does a reservation work?

Accepted Answer

A reservation records the date, the party size and the guest. The platform checks availability, proposes a table and keeps the history of the changes.

Question 14

Where can reservations come from?

Accepted Answer

From the team entering them directly, from the phone and from the online channels you connect to your establishment.

Question 15

What happens with cancellations and no-shows?

Accepted Answer

A reservation can be cancelled or marked as a no-show. The table is released and the change stays visible in the history.

Question 16

Which conversation channels are supported?

Accepted Answer

Communication Hub™ brings together the channels you activate, such as phone, email, chat, QR code and messaging, in one place.

Question 17

Do I keep the history of exchanges?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Conversations are kept with the guest they belong to, so anyone in the team sees what was already said.

Question 18

Can a person take over a conversation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A conversation can be handed to a team member at any point, and the history follows the handover.

Question 19

How does billing work?

Accepted Answer

Orders feed the bill of the table. The platform produces the invoice with the applicable taxes and keeps a sequential record of the documents issued.

Question 20

Which payment methods are available?

Accepted Answer

The platform records the payment methods you use in the establishment and supports card payments through the payment provider connected to your account.

Question 21

Can I find my invoices again?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Issued documents remain accessible, with their number, their date and their amounts, and can be consulted at any time.

Question 22

How is the platform secured?

Accepted Answer

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, access is protected by authentication, and sensitive actions are recorded. Our Security page describes what is in place.

Question 23

Can I control who sees what?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each user receives a role, and the role defines the establishments and the pages that person can reach.

Question 24

Where is the data hosted?

Accepted Answer

The platform is operated in Europe. The Security and Trust Center pages describe the hosting and the providers involved.

Question 25

Does my data remain my property?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The data of your establishment belongs to you. taevio. processes it to run the service you use, and never sells it.

Question 26

How is the GDPR handled?

Accepted Answer

The platform is built for the GDPR: purposes are documented, access is restricted and guest requests such as access or deletion can be handled.

Question 27

What about the European AI rules?

Accepted Answer

Assistants operate under human supervision, their scope is documented and their actions are traceable. Our AI Act page explains our approach.

Question 28

Can I connect my existing tools?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for the tools listed on the Integrations page. Each connection is activated by your establishment and can be deactivated.

Question 29

Does taevio. work with a point of sale?

Accepted Answer

Point of sale connections are covered by Integration Hub™. The Integrations page lists the systems currently available.

Question 30

Is there an interface for developers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Integrations page describes the technical entry points available and how to request access for your establishment.

Question 31

How is taevio. priced?

Accepted Answer

Pricing depends on the plan and the number of establishments. The Pricing page presents the plans and what each one includes.

Question 32

Am I tied to a long commitment?

Accepted Answer

The conditions of your plan are stated in the contract signed with your establishment. Ask the team for the exact terms before you subscribe.

Question 33

What support do I get?

Accepted Answer

You reach the team through the contact channels of your plan. Support helps with configuration, everyday questions and incidents.

Question 34

Is my team trained?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Configuration is guided, the Documentation explains each module, and the team is accompanied during the first services.

Question 35

How do I join the pilot programme?

Accepted Answer

Write to us through the Contact page. We look at your establishment together and explain how the accompaniment works.

Question 36

What does the pilot programme involve?

Accepted Answer

It is an accompaniment during setup and the first services, with regular exchanges. Participation is voluntary and can stop at any time.

Question 37

How do I request a demonstration?

Accepted Answer

Fill in the Contact form. We arrange a demonstration based on the type of establishment you run.
